Promotion rules
Last updated August 27, 2026
These rules apply to every promotion run on the PlayCart platform, unless the business running a particular promotion publishes its own rules on the promotion page. They are written to be read by the person taking part, not only by a lawyer.
1. Who is running the promotion
PlayCart provides the software. The promotion itself is run by the business whose name appears on the promotion page — the shop, café or restaurant offering the discount. That business decides what the rewards are, how long the promotion runs, and how a coupon is redeemed.
Where a promotion is run by someone other than the business whose brand is shown — a franchise head office, or an agency acting for the business — the promotion page names them.
2. It is free, and no purchase is necessary
Taking part is free. There is no stake, no fee, no payment and no purchase necessary at any point — not to take part, not to receive a coupon, and not to find out what you received.
You do not need an account, and you are not asked for a name, a phone number or an email address in order to take part.
3. Who may take part
You must be 18 or older, unless the promotion page states a different minimum age.
Employees of the business running the promotion, and their immediate families, may be excluded — the business decides, and its own rules govern if it publishes any.
4. What you can receive
Rewards are discounts or free items on the goods and services of the business running the promotion. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold.
Not every entry results in a coupon. Where a promotion has outcomes that award nothing, the promotion page says so before you take part.
5. One entry per person
Where a promotion limits entries, the limit is shown on the promotion page — commonly one entry per person per day.
The limit is applied using a short-lived identifier stored in your browser, which means it is a reasonable measure rather than a perfect one. What actually governs the offer is the coupon code itself: each code is single-use at the business’s own checkout.
6. Using your coupon
A coupon is used at the business that issued it, in the way that business states — in store, at its checkout, or through the link it provides.
Validity, expiry and any minimum spend are set by that business and shown on the promotion page. A coupon that has expired cannot be reinstated.
If a coupon is refused and you believe it should not have been, contact the business first. If that does not resolve it, write to us and we will help establish what the platform recorded.
7. Not associated with any social platform
A promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google or YouTube. Where you reach a promotion from a post or an advertisement on one of those services, that service has no involvement in the promotion beyond carrying the link.
Any question, complaint or claim about a promotion goes to the business running it, or to us — never to the platform you saw it on.
8. Changing or ending a promotion
A business may pause, change or end its promotion at any time. Coupons already issued remain valid on their own terms.
We may suspend a promotion that breaks these rules, applicable law, or the advertising policies of the platforms it is distributed on.
9. Law and contact
These rules are governed by the law of Georgia.
