1. Who is responsible

PlayCart operates the platform and is responsible for the data described here.

The business running a promotion is responsible for anything it collects through its own channels — its loyalty scheme, its point of sale, its own website. Taking part in a promotion does not hand a business your contact details, because the promotion does not ask for them.

2. Taking part in a promotion

You are not asked for a name, an email address or a phone number, and no account is created.

Where a promotion limits entries, a random identifier is stored in your browser so the limit can be applied. It is not linked to you, it is specific to that promotion, and it is kept for no longer than the limit it enforces — at most 90 days.

We record anonymous statistics about how a promotion performed: that a page was opened, that an entry was made, that a coupon was shown, that a coupon was copied. These are counted, not tied to a person.

The purpose is to run the promotion as it is described and to bill the business for it correctly. Where the identifier is used only to apply a limit the promotion page states, it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for.

3. Visiting this site

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It is not used for advertising, and there is no advertising or profiling cookie on this site.

Analytics storage is denied until you accept it in the banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookie is set. Your choice is remembered in your own browser and you can change it by clearing this site’s stored data.

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, company, phone number and message you type. Delivery of that message is handled by Web3Forms, which acts as a processor for it. We keep it for as long as we are in contact with you about it and no longer than two years.

4. Where it is kept

Promotion and campaign data is stored in Google Cloud in the European Union (Milan, europe-west8). Google acts as our processor.

Google Analytics and Web3Forms process data on their own infrastructure under their own terms.

5. How long it is kept

The browser identifier used for entry limits: no longer than the limit itself, capped at 90 days.

Anonymous promotion statistics: kept as counts, which are not personal data once aggregated.

Contact-form messages: up to two years.

6. Your rights

Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, in force since 1 March 2024, you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to it being processed, and withdraw consent you previously gave.

Withdrawing analytics consent takes effect immediately and is done by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

To exercise any other right, write to hello@playcart.app. We answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.

7. Children

Promotions are intended for people aged 18 or older unless the promotion page states a lower minimum age. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and the promotion pages ask for no personal data from anyone.

8. Changes to this notice

If this notice changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site or of a promotion after that date means the current version applies.
